if you're looking for gimmick this month may i suggest the following:
- watch SOUND play in Monk's Dream on August 14, in Big Sky Mind on August 15, and in Sanctum on August 16
- jam with Stephen and Champagne in Piper's every Friday (the crowd in Dreambar is going downhill already!drat!)
- watch SPIT and Tim Tayag perform every Saturday at Comfort Room
- watch Darna in CCP from August 1-17 showing everyday except Mondays Matinee 2pm Gala 8pm
- watch Overtone play in Yaku on Thursdays
- watch my friend Niles play some alternative rock in Aposento, Makati on Tuesday August 5
- starting August 7 watch all the movies in Cinemanila! in Greenbelt 1 & 3 and Glorietta theaters
