 wow finally a picture of cristina aguilera that isn't bad at all. she looks like an authentic hippie/flower child of the 60s. or maybe she should always keep her eyes and mouth closed to look good! hehe...as i read somewhere this week: she was meant to be heard, not seen. the girl's got a really great voice, you have to admit.
Went to el pueblo last night for happy hour...that kinda stretched to the midnight hour till the morning hours...ugh my head feels like jello right now. i big throbbing piece of jello! my throat is actually as dry as...i can't even think. But i had fun last night. haven't been to that area in a while...last time i was there was for all day cafe. I found out that Sidebar has some of the best sounds! relaxing without being sleepy and perfect for general conversation. An old friend and I caught up with what's happened to us over the past three years and as i was telling Joy over the phone, it's always nice to have stimulating intelligent conversation. I don't know if it's age and/or experience that helps you develop that. Then we went to this place across the street, Serendipity. The last time i was in that building was for a bridal shower! haha...but Serendipity was really nice and cozy. Peanuts were excellent! haha...
Anyway, i just realized that i didn't even eat dinner last night! i only had alcohol from around 6pm onwards! i only had currant sevens the whole night (as suggested by a fellow alcoholic, don't change our drink) but i think i lost count after eight drinks...don't even ask what time i got home this morning...my dad didn't even ask about me. he just assumed i wouldn't go to work today. Fat chance. Have to go to SM North Edsa today for a Barbie's Cradle gig again. Then i'm probably going to have just a nice quiet dinner tonight with Frances and Marc...
nako i may have spoken too soon...promised some people yesterday that i'd meet them tonight in Ebisu. haaaaaay....=) |
